Everything You Want to Know About Supima®
Supima cotton is a premium cotton variety grown in the United States, derived from Pima cotton, and accounts for less than 1% of the world's cotton production. What sets Supima apart is its extra-long fibers, which are stronger, softer, and have better dye retention compared to regular cotton!
- Supima Cotton: Premium cotton with extra-long fibers, known for softness, durability, and breathability. It’s strong but requires more resources to grow.
- HyperSoft TENCEL™: Soft, silky, and eco-friendly fabric made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. It’s breathable, moisture-wicking, and more environmentally friendly than cotton.
In short, Supima cotton is luxurious and durable, while HyperSoft TENCEL™ is softer, more sustainable, and excellent at moisture management.
With proper washing, Supima cotton will become softer with each wash! It is recommended to turn the bedding inside out and place it in a large laundry bag.
When placing it in the washing machine, ensure there is enough space to avoid excessive friction between the fabric.
Dilute the detergent before soaking, and do not soak for more than 10 minutes. Fabric softeners and bleach are not recommended.
